JOHN LENNAN (JAMES) was born 15 Mar 1850 in 5 Mercer St. (Westland Row Parish birth yet to be conclusively proved) and died 12 Feb 1879 in 6 Main St., Williamstown being buried on 15 Feb 1879, at Deansgrange, Kingstown. He married HANNAH CARROLL on 6 Oct 1872 in Booterstown, daughter of TIMOTHY CARROLL and CATHERINE HOGAN. His father was given on his marriage cert. as James (deceased). John was variously recorded as a harness maker/saddler. HANNAH CARROLL was born on 4 Dec 1853 in Merrion, and subsequent to John's death, married GEORGE AUSTIN, a house painter, on 1 Mar 1881. She died on 27 Mar 1913 at 143 Merrion Rd., Booterstown and George died on 8 Jul 1921 at 2 Gardiners Row, Blackrock.

iii. JOHN JOSEPH LENNAN, b. 13 Aug 1878, 6 Williamstown, Blackrock; d. 24 Jan 1962, Temperance St., Abbeyleix. John was a harness maker/saddler and never married.

LAURENCE LENNAN (JOHN, JAMES) was born on 20 Apr 1876 in 6 Williamstown, Blackrock, and died on 4 Mar 1956 in Donnybrook. He married CATHERINE ELIZABETH TONER on 3 Feb 1904 in St Patricks, Monkstown, daughter of PATRICK TONER and MARY MULHALL. She was born on 6 Nov 1875 in Loughlinstown, and died on 7 Feb 1946 at 106 Marlborough Rd., Donnybrook.

KATHLEEN LENNAN (LAURENCE, JOHN, JAMES) was born 2 Apr 1904 in Dublin S. and died 7 Jul 1973 in St. Vincents Hospital. She married JAMES EDWARD KEANY on 28 Jan 1931 in Donnybrook, son of THOMAS KEANY and ANN FLEMING. He was born in 1906 in Co. Sligo, and died on 21 Aug 1976 in Rathgar.
